Nanaimo Sheet Metal offers a wide array of custom services. Our union trained fabricators are familiar with all types of metals and their applications. We specialize in a vast assortment of metals and their individual fabrication processes. NSM comes prepared with a multitude of welding capabilities,  architectural fabrications and installations, ductwork and HVAC services, industry standard forming and construction techniques, waterjet cutting shearing and punching and polishing. These are just a few examples of what Nanaimo Sheet Metal brings to the table.

All of our work is custom. From fine finishing work like  countertops, backsplashes and hoods to modern staircases and even custom furnishings. Our well trained and experienced fabricators can help with all kinds of unique repairs here at the shop or even on site if needed.

Come in to NSM and our welcoming and knowledgeable office staff will walk you through your ideas and help you plan the best course of action. In the shop, our union trained sheet metal workers will transform your ideas into reality, from raw materials to high quality finished products.

Nanaimo Sheet Metal is CWB (Canadian Welding Bureau) certified to weld CSA W47.1 on engineered designs. These standards provide our customers the assurance of quality workmanship.

Community Involvement

  •  NSM built and donated a BBQ style smoker for VIU to enter the Nanaimo BBQ festival.
  • NSM donated time and material to maintain the passenger train for the crowds at VIEX
  • NSM provided and donated sign blanks for the Nanaimo Mountain Bike Club signage on the Dumont Road trails
  •  We have been part of the VIU clean-up on Mount Benson and area (garbage clean up)
  • The shop built and donated a fire pit smoke cap at Camp Caillet for Scouts Canada
  • We’ve sponsored 2 motocross riders (Macklem 728 and Pieters Racing)
